Pouf: a low stuffed or padded seat, footstool, or cushion with a stable base
Our poufs are very versatile in their usage. This pouf is constructed of woven natural jute fibers. Jute is nicknamed the 'Golden Fiber' for its beautiful luster and sheen. Place this jute pouf in any room to add natural, chunky texture and to create an inviting, familiar atmosphere.
- Dimensions: 18" x 18" x 18"
- Color: Natural
- Cover: 100% jute
- Core: 100% polystyrene
- Spot clean with a damp cloth. You may use a solution of mild dish soap and water but test the solution in a small, inconspicuous area of the cover to be sure there is no discoloration.
- For liquid spills, blot—do not rub—with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth.
- It is normal for jute and other natural fiber rugs to “sprout”. What may seem to be a pulled thread is really just a yarn whose fibers have separated at a point, or “sprouted”. Sprouting is common with natural fibers, such as jute, that are made up of shorter fibers. This is not a defect but an inherent quality of certain natural fibers. Simply clip the sprout that has popped up with a sharp scissor.
How To Clean Natural Fiber Rugs
o To clean liquid spills, blot the area with a clean, dry, and absorbent cloth. Do not rub the spill into the carpet. A mixture of mild dish soap and water may help with spot cleaning, but we recommend testing a small area first.
o Vacuums with a beater brush may snag or pull on the shag tufts. Only use suction attachments.
o We recommend getting the carpet professionally cleaned – especially when trying to remove difficult stains or heavily soiled areas.
o If you choose to clean the rug yourself, we recommend using the highly-rated HOST carpet cleaning system, which uses dry extraction to clean rugs.
