Our bamboo rugs are crafted in the Anji Mountain region of China, bamboo’s native growing environment. Here, mature bamboo stalks- typically harvested after five to six years- are selected and worked by skilled local artisans. This careful harvesting cycle allows bamboo to regenerate naturally while supporting long-established regional craftsmanship.

Production remains close to the source. The bamboo is harvested, processed, and assembled within the same region, reducing unnecessary transport and maintaining a direct connection between material and maker. Each rug reflects this intentional approach - simple, durable, and thoughtfully made.

Bamboo rugs are also valued for their material purity. Unlike many rugs treated with synthetic finishes or chemical coatings, bamboo relies on the inherent strength of the fiber itself.
