Favorite Jute Rugs from 2025
Of all the natural fibers used to create our handmade natural fiber rugs, jute is my favorite. And, while I would be hard pressed to pick a single favorite jute rug, I was easily able to look at customers' orders and their comments - and what I introduced into my own home - to come up with a short list of my favorite jute rugs from 2025.
Without further ado, here they are, in no particular order.
Kerala Natural Handmade Jute Rug
A True Classic

What's not to love about this beautiful rug? The Kerala Natural is truly a classic jute rug.
Also available in elegant ivory and gray, the natural Kerala is the gold standard, with its ethically-sourced, skillfully hand-braided natural jute fibers and its luxurious organic texture. This rug quietly - yet undoubtedly - elevates any space and infuses it with inviting warmth.
Customers love the Kerala Natural even more because it's also GoodWeave certified, meaning that by purchasing it, you're helping to end child labor and support fair working conditions.
Bell Bottom Blues Handloom Woven Rug
Refreshingly Unexpected

The popular Bell Bottom Blues rug is made from a beautiful pairing of sustainable jute and cotton. What makes it particularly unique is that the majority of the cotton is from up-cycled denim, introducing a rich, lived-in blue to the natural golden hues of the jute fibers.
The hefty, tight weave of the Bell Bottom rug is created by artists handloom weaving the fibers using generations-old techniques, making the rug as durable as it is stunning.
Kerala Dark Gray Handloom Woven Round Rug
Circular Sophistication

This rug has all the beauty of the rich, sustainable jute fibers and hand-craftsmanship of the Kerala Natural, but it bears a gorgeous dark gray tone and is round.
The Kerala Dark Gray Handloom Woven Round Rug is a stunning choice to anchor a cozy living room or conversation area, to serve as the foundation of a round dining table, or to bring an element of visual interest and sophistication to a bedroom.
Andes Hand Woven Ivory Rug
Instant Elegance

The Andes Handwoven Ivory Rug is at once elegant and inviting. The beautiful ivory palette adds sophistication to any space, and the rug's two-ply hand-spun boucle weave gives it an inviting, cozy texture.
Like the Kerala rugs, the Andes Hand Woven Ivory Rug is GoodWeave Certified, so you can also feel good about bringing it into your home.
Jute rugs are not only popular because they're sustainable and available in many sizes, shapes and colors, but also because they're naturally insulating and moisture-regulating - making spaces more comfortable as well as beautiful. These four were favorites in 2025, and we're eager to see which designs customers love most in 2026.
