If you're looking for bold texture, this jute area rug is it! One of our most popular rugs, this transitional jute rug offers an inviting, moderately chunky texture to practically any area in your home. Brightly dyed in a vibrant ivory color, it will awaken a tired room or be the centerpiece of a freshly designed new space.  These rugs are expertly hand loom-woven by skilled weavers who employ a variety of traditional techniques to create this simply beautiful style. Jute fibers exhibit naturally anti-static (helps prevent the buildup of static electricity), insulating (absorbs sound) and moisture regulating properties.

    • 2-ply hand spun jute boucle with tucked ends
    • Hand woven on antique wooden looms
    • Pile: 100% jute
    • Weight: 4200 g/sm

    • Jute fibers are characteristically long, soft and shiny and are among the strongest, most flexible vegetable fibers on the planet.
    • It is predominantly farmed by approximately four million small farmers in India and Bangladesh and supports hundreds of thousands of workers in jute manufacturing (from raw material to yarn and finished products).

How To Clean Natural Fiber Rugs

Product Care
o To clean liquid spills, blot the area with a clean, dry, and absorbent cloth. Do not rub the spill into the carpet. A mixture of mild dish soap and water may help with spot cleaning, but we recommend testing a small area first.

o Vacuums with a beater brush may snag or pull on the shag tufts. Only use suction attachments.

o We recommend getting the carpet professionally cleaned – especially when trying to remove difficult stains or heavily soiled areas.

o If you choose to clean the rug yourself, we recommend using the highly-rated HOST carpet cleaning system, which uses dry extraction to clean rugs.
